Face protection is required to enter the pool deck, but not necessary while sitting.

Select the day you wish to see time slots for from the grey tabs and don't worry about the rest of the fields. After that simply hit the green button and all the available reservations for the day or days you selected will populate the page.

TO RECEIVE CONFIRMATION EMAILS, CHANGE YOUR NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES UNDER "MY ACCOUNT".
Know that there are some rules to making reservations you should be aware of. No one may make two reservations in the same day. Additionally members are allowed two reservations per week. You will find that you may only have two active pending reservations at any time. It is our policy to allow someone else to take their spot after 30 minutes. If you receive a notice you may only schedule two reservations per year, that is because you may only have four pending reservations at a time, as soon as one of your reservations has been used, you will be able to make another one. We do this to limit predatory reserving.
To View and to Cancel:
To view your current reservations, use the top of the site to navigate to dashboard. Your upcoming reservations will appear there. To cancel one, click on the reservation you wish to cancel, in the top right, select "More ▼ " and select "Delete x" from the drop down tab.
If it is your first time, take a minute to read through this information to the right.
It is expected of members to wear face protection to enter the pool, but are not required once you have reached your chairs and while you are swimming. All pool employees are required to wear face masks while interacting with members. It is also encouraged that members bring their own towels rather than use club towels.
Due to COVID-19, the pool faces certain restrictions regarding pool capacity, cleaning, social distancing, etc. To be open as a pool there are CDC guidelines we are required to follow.
We have to encourage, maintain, and enforce social distancing. As such the pool deck has a reduced capacity. The pool deck has groupings of chairs of various numbers, spread out over the deck, to accommodate groups of varying sizes. These chair groupings are intended to be occupied by members and immediate family members and are distanced from other chair groupings to reduce contact and ultimately infection vectors.
We also have to ensure proper sanitation. Time slots for the pool are an hour and a half, after which the pool staff cleans the deck and disinfects the chairs and all surfaces which one might come into contact with. A half an hour is allotted for cleaning. After cleaning is complete members may sign in and go to their chairs early, but may not enter the water until the full half hour has passed to give the chlorine in the pool time to naturally disinfect itself.
The pool staff is fully equipped to handle all situations, emergency and non-emergency alike in a clean and hygienic fashion. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Click here if you would like even more information on COVID-19 and how it affects pools. This will take you directly to the appropriate CDC page.
Anyone is free to use the pool without a reservation! You can swim all you want, you just can't use the chairs on the deck. Swimmers without chair reservations still need to observe the 30 minute cleaning periods, so they will need to exit the pool for those times, but may reenter as soon as the pool and deck opens again.
We may not allow more than 75 people on the deck at a time so this may impact swimming if you don't have a reservation!
Lounge chairs without reservation:
We have many lounge chairs placed on the East Lawn by the pool for anyone to use without reservation. You are free to use these chairs, leave your stuff there, and swim in the pool. These chairs are on the lawn most of the time except for when there is a GPYC event taking place on the lawn.
Unfilled reservations are filled on a first-come first-served basis. You may claim an unfilled reservation regardless of other reservations you have that week or that day. We cannot guarantee that at any time there will be unfilled reservations, but there are almost always chairs on the East Lawn. As for reservations that no one shows up for, it is our policy to allow someone else to take their spot after 30 minutes.
Click this link to see a list of upcoming GPYC Events. If there are any taking place on the lawn its a safe bet that we won't have any chairs on the East Lawn. But they will be up almost any other time.
